In the face of adversity...do this...

Last week was a bit shit.

I share this because it's important to realise...

No matter who you follow, read, subscribe to...

Listen to, or learn from...

Everyone is going to have weeks or times when things go wrong.

So, last week was one that was sent to test me.

First off, the WMA Instagram account got hacked.

I spent hours trying to sort it.

I contacted people I know with HUGE followings...

Like more than 1 million followers...

To see if they had a 'contact' I could talk to at IG.

But, they were unable to help.

At the time of writing, I've still had no response from IG...

(Which is no surprise given the stories I've heard from others who had account issues).

So if you happen to know anyone who works there who can help...

PLEASE link us up (I'll make it worth your while, brother).

Next up was...

Our Squarespace website.

They did some sort of update, and in short...

It changed the main Font across our entire WMA website.

So nothing I've done, just a glitch.

Meaning the format of some of the pages and buttons was wrong.

2 days later and still they couldn't give me a date when the technical glitch would be sorted.

"Because resolution time for issues can vary,

We aren’t able to provide an estimated fix time for this.

Thank you for your patience and sorry for any inconvenience."

For fucks sake.

We also had power cut on Wednesday...

Just as I needed to access my computer to do something important.

See what I mean about a shit week?

There were also one or two other things going on which were draining my mental power...

All in all, it was like...

A battery slowly dying before the toy monkey stops drumming.

But, in all the frustration...

Here are several positive things:

A lot of you contacted me and noticed something was up with Instagram...

And one of you spotted the Font change on the website.

That's what a strong NETWORK does...

Look out for each other and then try to help.

Several of you sent me articles or ideas to sort things.

Appreciate it.

But even more importantly...

I stayed calm and cool throughout the...

Shitstorm of messages...

781 'change your password' links...

And 'AutoBotChats' asking me to explain my issue for the third bloody time.

So today is a good day to share a simple but powerful message with you.

"In the journey of life, challenges are inevitable.

When the unexpected strikes and things go tits up...

Staying calm and utilising a strong mindset becomes your secret weapon.

It's not about avoiding pop-up hurdles...

But about how you navigate them that truly matters."

So how do you do that?

I hear you ask...

Well... Here's one idea that I know works.

Embrace the power of perspective.

Condition your mind to see setbacks as opportunities for growth.

Every obstacle is a chance to learn, adapt, and come back even stronger.

Shift your focus from 'Why is this happening to me?'

To 'What can I learn from this?'

Or as I heard from one of the Elite men I know...

And put more eloquently than I can...

'In the face of adversity, a strong mindset is your anchor,

Guiding you through turbulent waters.'

Nicely put.

Catch you Wednesday

And remember, the world needs strong men.
